HSE STATEMENT

At Nubian Nigeria, we are committed to the safety of our people and the environment. We believe that our people are what makes us exceptional, and that the welfare and safety of our employees, contractors, and the communities in which we operate is of the utmost importance. We recognize that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management is a fundamental part of our business and must be given the attention it deserves.

To that end, we have designed all of our facilities and operations with safety and environmental protection in mind. This commitment to safety and environmental responsibility is just one of the many ways that we strive to be a responsible, sustainable business. We are proud to be able to say that we are truly committed to making a positive impact on the world.

We are therefore committed to the continual improvement of our HSE performance and to the prevention of harm to people and the environment. We continuously achieve this by setting and consistently achieving high HSE standards, by promoting a culture of openness and accountability, and by investing in the training and development of our employees. 

We recognize that HSE is a shared responsibility and that everyone who works for or with us has a role to play in ensuring that our HSE standards are met. We work closely with our employees, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and that they have the necessary skills and resources to discharge them effectively.

We are also committed to engaging with our local communities on HSE matters and to involving them in our HSE management processes. We believe that by doing so, we will be able to address their concerns and better manage the potential impacts of our operations on their health and wellbeing. 

We recognize that there is always room for improvement and that we must continually strive to find ways to further improve our HSE performance. We are therefore committed to the continual review and improvement of our HSE management systems and processes. 

This commitment is reflected in our HSE objectives and targets, which is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that they remain relevant and achievable. We also review our performance against these objectives and targets on a regular basis to ensure that we are making the progress that we expect to make. 

We are confident that by maintaining our commitment to HSE, we will be able to create a safer and healthier workplace for our employees and a cleaner and healthier environment for the communities in which we operate.
